I searched their current sale to find my favorite books – here they are!

The Rose Code by Kate Quinn
16 hours

Kate Quinn is one of my favorite historical fiction authors, and this might be my very favorite book of hers! It’s set in WWII England and focuses on three women from very different backgrounds who come together as code breakers at Bletchley Park. Personal rifts emerge, but the women must come back together to solve one final code to catch a traitor.

The Violin Conspiracy by Brendan Slocumb
12 hours

I found this book absolutely riveting! Ray is a young black man who has a passion and natural gift for music. Thanks to an old fiddle passed down through the family, he gets the chance to attend college for music. The violin itself has a remarkable history, and the conflict it inspires threatens to unravel almost all of Ray’s relationships.

The Nature of Fragile Things by Susan Meissner
10 hours 40 mins

This historical fiction book centers in San Francisco around a mail-order bride and the family she steps into. Just before the San Francisco earthquake of 1906, she discovers that her husband is not the man she thought he was. Her commitment to helping her step-daughter Kat, and other women betrayed by her husband, guides her as she pushes through the rubble of San Francisco and her own tumbled reality.

Attachments: A Novel by Rainbow Rowell
9 hours

Sometimes you need some light romance, and this book is just the ticket! Beth and Jennifer know that someone is monitoring their work emails, but they still send each other lengthy personal messages about everything! Lincoln, the IT guy, reads their messages. Instead of turning them in for violating company policy, he gets hooked into their stories… and starts falling in love in the process.

Hidden Valley Road: Inside the Mind of an American Family by Robert Kolker
13 hours

I like to keep good nonfiction titles in my reading rotation, and this one captivated me from the start. It seems like the American Dream story: falling in love and marrying, working for the Air Force, and having 12 kids within the baby-boom era. That mood shifts as 6 of the 10 boys are diagnosed with schizophrenia. From how the family navigates these health challenges, to how medical doctors and scientists get involved, this is a riveting true story.
